HI RIVERWAY!

We wanted to give you an update in light of the COVID-19 situation. This is an unpredictable time for everyone, which is why we are monitoring all of the information put out by both national and state health agencies on a daily basis. While we want to operate out of caution, we will not give in to fear. We are committed to responding with faith and courage as followers of Jesus!

We know that situations like this can certainly induce anxiety and fear, however, we are reminded and comforted by scripture that tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7 that “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of sound mind.” This is a guiding verse for us during this time.

After much consideration and discussion, we have decided NOT to meet this Sunday out of an abundance of caution. Our plan going forward is to monitor this situation week-by-week to determine whether or not we will meet together on Sundays and what online options we can provide for our church. There will be nothing available online this week, but encourage you to get online at https://riverwaychurch.com/media/watch-messages to watch back a recent message you may have missed.

We are also looking into the ministry opportunities to meet the needs of our communities that may arise during this time and will keep you posted.
